Do I Need to Be Registered to See a GP?
For private consultations, you do not need to be a registered patient — you can book and attend on the same day. For medical card (GMS) visits, you will need to be registered with one of our GPs. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes at reception. Bring your medical card and PPS number.

When Should I Go to a GP vs A&E?
Visit your GP for non-emergency health issues. Go to A&E or call 112/999 for:
- Chest pain or difficulty breathing
- Signs of stroke (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
- Severe bleeding or injuries
- Loss of consciousness
- Suspected broken bones
- Severe allergic reactions
For everything else, a GP appointment is faster and more appropriate than A&E. Most of our patients are seen within 24 hours of booking.
How to Book a Same-Day GP Appointment
You can book an appointment at any Clarius Health clinic by:
- Phone: Call (01) 568 8380 (Camden/Crumlin) or (01) 868 8024 (Cabra)
- Online: Visit our online booking page
- Walk in: Come to any of our clinics during opening hours — we’ll fit you in where possible
Same-day appointments are available at all three locations. Early morning slots fill fastest, so call before 10am for the best availability.
